UNC Football 2010

The UNC football team is under investigation for certain academic violations. The investigation is being done by Holden Thorpe who is the chancellor of the university. After one and a half hour of addressing the player on the field he was joined by the athletic director and the coach of the UNC football team. The officials announced that they have informed NCAA about the whole matter. Thorpe was pretty sad to know that misconduct had taken place in his university. He stated that he is sad to inform all the lovers of the university that during the investigation he and NCAA came to know that there have been some agent violations. The academic misconduct involved a former undergraduate teacher and some athletes of the football team.

The teacher that has been under suspicion was formerly employed by his family as an academic adviser to the coach’s son. The coach stated that he and his family members are pretty surprised to know that things have worked out in this manner. The exact facts and figures are still not known.

NCAA campus arrived at the campus and they asked the UNC football team players about having any kind of illegal benefits with the agents. The numbers of players that are under consideration have not been declared. The nature of the academic violations has also not been revealed. The UNC shall have to be pretty careful while taking selecting their players as if any of the players becomes illegible afterwards it would give a tough time to the team.
