Danielle Staub's sextape has added to the expanded celebrity offerings. I guess, that is, if you can call Danielle Staub a celebrity. Staub is the disliked housewife on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and it's because of her that Dina left the cast. She's even been FIRED from the franchise. Of course, one has to wonder what the show will do for drama with her gone.
In recent days, we have had a seemingly endless stream of celebrity porn. One has to wonder if the stars really care or not whether or not their sextapes get leaked.
It all started, really, with the Kim Kardashian tape leak. This happened years ago, but inspired one Montana Fishburne, the daughter of Laurence Fishburne, to change her stage name to Chippy D and become a porn star.
Fantasia Barrino's unfortunate sextape also recently debuted - but because it may be used in a legal battle. Her tape is actually quite scandalous, as it involves a married man in the state of North Carolina where there are laws which allow his jilted ex to sue her.
And then there's the Speidi sextape. The stars of MTV's "The Hills" Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were married, so it only makes sense that they made a steamy video. Pratt is commanding some $5 million for the tape - no small change, but the tape would make a great addition to Vivid's ever expanding celebrity offerings.
Jenna Jameson, a well-known name in the adult entertainment industry rolls her eyes at the so-called "victimization" of women involved in sextape "scandals." Jameson recently tweeted that she knows of one woman who actually leaked her own sextape. Jameson's exact words are:
"Why do people do porno tapes, sell them, make boatloads of money, then LIE about being victimized. I know one girl who sold her tape herself, @SOFTBLUSHcom I know one of the girls that acts so prim and proper and sold her tape to get famous. The others I just speculate. I own up to my porn, I don't cry and say my boyfriend stole it."
