Buju Banton Trial Update:Reggae star Buju Banton (born Mark Myrie) awaits sentencing in drug and firearms trial. Buju Banton was arrested at his home Florida in December 2009 while trying to buy cocaine from undercover police officers. Jamaica Observer promises to update as soon as the sentence is checked.
Buju Banton on trial for intent to purchase and distribution of cocaine and possession of illegal firearms.
Benton defendants, Ian Thomas and James Mack, is pleading guilty.
