Bears Vs Packers:Bears against the Packers in the books, the boys from Chicago beat Green Bay 20-17.Here are 5 things to take away from this game:
1– Bears are for real:
We knew that the Bears were the top echelon of defense, but it seems that crime has indeed improved. Although they did not put up a huge number of yards, Cutler and the offense turned the ball only once, one of their Achilles’ heels in 2009. Of course, the Packers dropped a pair of integers, but the Bears offense moved the ball when they need to.
2– Packers offense may be slowed by:
Heading into the game tonight, the Packers was the highest scoring offense the NFL, averaging over 30 points per game. Bears Tampa Cover-2 deadlock Aaron Rodgers for most of the night, giving a lot of stuff, but does not allow the big game. Other D-coordinators around the league, no doubt, pay attention.
3–Devin Hester still has:
Hester is sometimes overlooked (he had not returned a punt for a TD in two years), but today he showed why he is still one of the most explosive players in the league. He was the spark that eventually resulted in the Bears victory.
4– The Packers need another running back:
Brandon Jackson, who the Packers brass gave a vote of confidence after Ryan Grant came out for the season, finished the game today with only 7 are at 12 yards. Of course, it will not be next to the type of execution the Packers take on their attributes Tailback, especially when the weather turns in Wisconsin.
5– Mike McCarthy needs to work on his clock management:
McCarthy blew up one of the precious timeouts his team in the 4 th quarter, when he challenged the play, which obviously will not be revoked. They were one short timeout late in the game as the Bears were able to run the clock with 48 seconds to 8 seconds before they kicked the winning goal.
