Albert Greenwood Brown:Albert Greenwood Brown’s execution by lethal injection was approved by the federal judge Friday. This will be the first execution in California five years. Judge Jeremy Fogel expressed in the words of his internal struggles over his decision: “I am painfully aware that he nevertheless decided the case of this kind, there will be many who disagree profoundly with this decision. Moral and political debate about the death penalty will continue as it should. ”
Brown lawyers are expected to argue that the decision on Monday, as they are opposed to the way the procedure followed in respect of the new policy of lethal injection.
Albert Greenwood Brown was charged and convicted of aggravated murder OS 15-year-old student named Susan Jordan. This tragic incident happened in Riverside in 1980. The girl went to Arlington High School, where Brown caught her, raped her and then strangled her with his own shoelaces. After that horrific scene, the killer-rapist called parents Susan Jordan and told them about the murder. He also told them where to find the corpse of their daughter.
