Appaloosa Management:Tepper is the founder of $12.4 billion Appaloosa Management. The fund manager made around $7 billion in 2009 by buying bonds and stocks in distressed.Hedge fund manager advises investors to go back to the stock market in 2010. Tepper was the highest-paid hedge fund managers last year, when he purchased a large quantity of shares. The financial meltdown of the market shares of banks and placed creditors are close to record lows.
Tepper T believes the stock market is on the verge of similar rebound in all sectors and people who invest their money in stocks is now able to make substantial profits in the short term. He told an interviewer CNBC, that gold was a good short-term investment strategy and that government bonds were not a good investment strategy.
