Colts running back Joseph Addai suffered a neck injury during the team's 19-9 win at home against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The extent of the injury is not yet known but the Colts cannot afford another injury to their skill position, let alone their running back unit. Donald Brown was expected to play this week but was deactivated before the game due to an injured knee.
Former Michigan star Michael Hart filled in admirably for the Colts, rushing for 50 yards on 11 carries and scoring the team's lone touchdown.
The Colts running game is already in dire straights, ranked fourth worst in the entire NFL. Regardless of Addai's status, the Colts might go running back shopping tomorrow morning.
