The founder of the penthouse magazine is no more, Bob Guccione was 79 and he had in actual spent a lot of time in the seminary and spent several years trying to become an artist, before in actual found niche which Hefner left for the man in the late sixties. In the year 1984 the magazine issued nude pictures of Vanessa Williams who was the Miss America of her time but after these pictures she had to give up the title, the issue which had her pictures in it sold around six million copies and earned some 14 million US Dollars. The success rate of Bob changed to a great extent when the videos became more popular form of porn and the arrival of internet made things worse.
