Colby Lewis is the man who is really being appreciated for the win of the Rangers over the Yankees and he has got a really big share in the qualifying of the Rangers to the World Series. Jack was surprised to see Colby Lewis pitching in the best manner he has performed in the old times and it looked as if he was doing all he could in order to qualify to the World Series. Jack said that he had been watching Colby Lewis since the past 25 years and he had many ups and downs during the period of time. He appeared really confident with the ball and he grasped it in his hands and had the motto in mind to fulfill the target he had decided to achieve in the morning.
Colby shut down the Bronx Bombers on three hits over the eight innings and the only run that came from the defending champions was from the fifth one. In the replay it was visible that the curve ball in the dirt skipped up
and in reality it hit him in shin and then went to the backstop. The things did not matter to Lewis and he did not rattle and even after the first wild pitch he continued to pitch really well and he had just told himself that he must get behind them and get another one quickly out. He really did come right back and struck out Marcus on another one of the nasty sliders of his to end the fifth.
