Escape Theme Park
The Escape Theme Park is located in Singapore at the NTUC Downtown East, Pasir Ris and is Singapore's largest outdoor theme park. The park was opened in May of the year 2000; the water park, Wild Wild Wet that lies next to the park and was opened in June of 2004. The motto of Escape Theme Park is '360 degrees of fun'. The Escape Theme Park has many attractions, thrilling rides and a good portion of family rides as well. The highest log flume in Asia is located here at the Escape Theme Park. Some the park attractions include the Bumper Boats, Central Pavillion, Choo Choo Train, Daytona Beginner's Track, Daytona Go-Kart, Family Coaster, Ferris Wheel, Flipper, Haunted, Inverter, Kite Flyer, Pirate Ship, Rainbow, Red Baron and the Wet & Wild. At the Bumper Boats, visitors are able to choose an inflated dinghy boat and have fun bumping around the ride. The dinghies come in an assortment of colors to choose from. Riders can choose to go in the obstacle course or splash in the water. The park operates an Umbrella Rental service; in addition, first aid and parking facilities are also available within the park. Burger King and Orange Julius both operate within the park premises, food brought from outside is not allowed within the park. Thrill rides at the Escape Theme Park include the walk through style haunted house, the fairground style rides, the two go kart tracks, the pirate ship and the log flume. One of the go-kart tracks is operated to cater for younger riders.
