Melissa Rauch Biography



MELISSA RAUCH is a critically acclaimed actress, writer and stand-up comic. Her television work includes appearances on True Blood, The Big Bang Theory, The Office, Kath & Kim, 12 Miles of Bad Road, Dirty Sexy Money and Best Week Ever. Some of her film appearances include I Love You, Man, Delirious, and the upcoming comedy Thunder Geniuses. Melissa garnered rave reviews for her award winning portrayal of the President's Daughter in her one-woman show, THE MISS EDUCATION OF JENNA BUSH. After being awarded Outstanding Solo Show and TheaterMania's Audience Favorite Award in the New York International Fringe Festival, Melissa was invited to extend her run at LA's Coronet Theater, and to perform THE MISS EDUCATION of JENNA BUSH at HBO's prestigious US COMEDY ARTS FESTIVAL in Aspen. Melissa has toured with the esteemed political satire group GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT and starred in their off-Broadway run in NYC. Her film-noir comedic satire "The Condom Killer" (which Melissa co-wrote and co-directed, was an official selection of The Friar's Club and Hollywood Film Festivals), and her original digital shorts include "Partially Stalked Love" and the "Intern Rap" are both featured on www.Funnyordie.com. As a stand-up comic, Melissa was named "Best College Comedian" on MTVs TRL by Jamie Foxx and Carson Daly and performs to sold-out crowds at colleges and universities nationwide.
